We are SO close to the end of the year! Woohoo!!
How many are feeling the school year burn-out? 🙋🏼♀️
Yea, me too! I am exhausted at the end of the day, I feel my fuse is a bit shorter (even if I don’t show it) and I am mentally in summer mode!
I found something to help me through the last 3 weeks that does not include mid-week drinking! 🤣
First, whenever I have a free moment during the day (before school, during my prep, after I eat lunch, after school) I do some laps around my classroom to get my blood pumping…it also encourages me to straighten up things here and there each time I pass by.
Then, when I get home, I found this gem on Pinterest :
It took me 15-20 minutes with no rests, and I could modify it to make it easier or harder as needed….and what’s better….I need ZERO equipment!
Finally, I took a mind-clearing walk while my daughter was at soccer practice. It ended up being good for my physical health (I reached my 10,000 step goal!) and good for my mental health (I was able to decompress and clear my head) too!
Find ways to take care of YOU during these last few weeks (or borrow my ideas)…and you’ll be lounging around in no time!
